The Role We are seeking a skilled, detail-orientated Drafter to join our Singapore studio. You will contribute across the full design lifecycle (concept development to technical drawing production and on-site coordination). The ideal candidate combines a strong design sensibility with technical precision and thrives in a fast-paced, design-led, and highly collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, refine design concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Prepare detailed space plans, mood boards, and material specifications. Produce high-quality technical drawings — including floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details — using AutoCAD. Support 3D modelling and rendering with tools such as SketchUp / Photoshop. Ensure compliance with Singapore codes and authority requirements, while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines. Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is maintained. Attend contractor / consultant coordination meetings and follow up on action items. Support in preparing site progress reports and highlight discrepancies or concerns. Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline 4-5 years of relevant working experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Excel Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of Singapore building codes, authority submissions, compliance Must have legal work rights in Singapore (Singaporean citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work pass)Working Conditions Full-time role with standard office hours (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm)Monthly salary: SGD 5,000 to SGD 6,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)4-5 years of relevant working experience Interested applicants to email CV and portfolios to: careers at alifebydesign dot com #J-18808-Ljbffr
