Job Opening: Human Resources & Compliance Officer

Human Resource Director
COORDINATES:
Directors, Head of School, Principals, Supervisors, Teachers, Office Staff
JOB GOAL:
To ensure ICS’s full HR and compliance functions operate efficiently and in alignment with legal and accrediting body requirements. This role will uphold operational excellence by administering HR processes, supporting staff welfare, and overseeing EduTrust and CPE compliance.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources Administration
Execute HR operational processes, including recruitment, contracts, visas, insurance, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll.
Align and update HR policies and contracts in accordance with ICS practices and Singapore labor law.
Track schoolwide compliance with staff evaluation processes.
Partner with the Member Care Coordinator to implement staff welfare initiatives.
Compliance
Conduct internal audits and assist in annual policy reviews.
Support ICS in guided interim and full EduTrust, ACSI, and WASC assessments.
Implement school-wide strategies to protect employee data in compliance with PDPA/GDPR.
Administrative Support to HR Director
Assist with file management (Google Drive), compliance tracking, and policy maintenance.
Coordinate schoolwide operational documentation (standard operating procedures).
Support HR-related data management, risk management, and reporting.
Help facilitate timely evaluations and support-staff feedback systems.
Communication & Personal Development
Identify issues within your areas of responsibility and ensure that they are understood by your supervisor.
Develop and implement a personal professional development plan to build your skills, knowledge, and leadership abilities.
Other Responsibilities
Participation in school events, meetings, and functions.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned by school management, supervisor, or committee.
Demeanor:
Demonstrate enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with ICS staff.
Maintain emotional stability, objectivity, and optimism when facing stress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3–5 years of HR or compliance experience; education sector preferred.
Familiarity with Singapore HR laws, PDPA, EduTrust, and CPE.
Strong attention to detail and process-driven thinking.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills.
Able to adapt and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
A Christian with a testimony consistent with ICS’s mission and values.
