As we continue to expand our regional footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to lead our market development efforts in Malaysia and locally . Key Responsibilities Develop and execute market entry and growth strategies in Malaysia and local market for fresh produce trading and distribution. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including importers, distributors, wholesale markets, and regulatory agencies. Identify and onboard reliable suppliers and partners across the region to strengthen the company’s supply chain. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and risks. Work closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, finance, and marketing) to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and brand presence in assigned markets. Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export and food safety regulations in both countries. Requirements Major study in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in agribusiness, fresh produce trading, or regional wholesale distribution. Strong network within the fresh produce industry in Malaysia and/or China is highly preferred. Proven track record in market expansion, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and cross-cultural communication skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written). Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
