The individual will establish, analyze, and be responsible for sales forecasts as well as strategize efforts to attract new customers and expand into new market segments. Responsibilities Strategize initiatives to convert RFQs into sales purchase orders, while attracting new customers and penetrating new market segments at both local and international levels. Oversee the annual operating budget for the S&M department, making necessary adjustments as directed by management. Conduct regular sales calls with customers to ensure alignment with business needs and address early-stage issues. Generate comprehensive market research reports for senior management regarding business trends and market intelligence. Supervise and guide the S&M team to ensure smooth operations and assist in meeting/exceeding sales targets. Develop team competencies to ensure employee independence and effectiveness. Cultivate and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships. Prioritize deliverables to drive company growth through new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by supervisors. Requirements Diploma or Degree in an Engineering field. At least 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience. Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities. Excellent skills in relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing. Attention to detail with a keen eye for numbers and specifics. Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making. Exceptional listening and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
