Michelin Restaurant General Manager Position

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operations Oversight: Ensure top-tier service and smooth workflow in all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train the team to maintain service excellence and operational standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor in-line operations and address issues (SPC, equipment, customer feedback) promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through guest feedback and internal reviews.
  • Customer Service: Handle guest complaints with professionalism and follow up on resolution.
  • Peak Period Support: Participate actively during peak periods, special events, and busy days.
  • Staff Management: Plan staff schedules and manage resources based on occupancy and events.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities for private dining, partnerships, and exclusive events.
  • Training and Assessment: Ensure team compliance with SOPs and service standards through regular training and assessments.
  • Cost Control: Control costs while maintaining high standards in service and cleanliness.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.

Requirements:

  • Senior Leadership Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience in senior leadership roles within high-end or fine dining establishments.
  • Mitchelin Star Background: Previous experience in Michelin-starred restaurants is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and proven track record in revenue and cost management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Passion for Hospitality: Deep passion for food, service, and hospitality with knowledge of the latest culinary and service trends.
  • Fine Dining Etiquette: Meticulous attention to detail and strong understanding of fine dining service etiquette.
