We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven business development specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities in the food and beverage (F&B) industry, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion & Sales Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the F&B sector.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including catering companies and restaurant chains.
- Develop market segmentation strategies by analysing trends, focusing especially on promoting eco-friendly and sustainable products in the F&B sector.
- Sales Goal Setting and Execution
- Formulate a clear sales plan and set key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales target achievement.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Develop market segmentation strategies by analysing trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Monitor F&B market developments and adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Team Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the product development team to develop and promote sustainable and eco-friendly products in the F&B sector.
- Provide feedback on product innovations based on market demand.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development in the F&B industry, particularly experience in selling packaging products to catering companies, restaurant chains, or fresh food factories.
- Passion for the F&B industry and eco-friendly products, with a keen interest in staying updated on market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of maintaining and managing long-term customer relationships.
- Strong focus on achieving sales targets, with the ability to exceed sales targets.
- Resilient in the face of challenges, consistently working towards closing customer deals.
- Able to work independently while also being an effective team player.
- Good command of Mandarin to communicate with counterparts from overseas and customers who speak Mandarin.
