Head of Corporate Real Estate Management Asia Pacific

Goal of PositionThe incumbent is responsible to drive corporate real estate management across the Asia Pacific region and oversee the development, implementation, and execution of goal-oriented strategies for real estate assets, including production facilities, offices, logistics/warehouses, and technology buildings.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will lead five core areas of responsibility:1. Portfolio Management Conduct portfolio analysis and optimization based on central data. Support location strategy and site selection in coordination with global CREM teams. Provide proactive recommendations for portfolio improvements. 2. Asset and Property Management Translate portfolio strategies into efficient asset management practices. Develop and implement strategies for property management, leasing, and maintenance. Align operational services with divisional and regional needs. 3. Transaction Management / M&A Execute real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and leasing. Ensure compliance with global transaction guidelines. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for process execution. 4. Building and Construction Management Implement global standards for construction projects, including sustainability and ESG requirements. Oversee planning and execution of construction projects with internal and external resources. 5. Real Estate Finance Manage CAPEX budgeting, financial planning, and reporting for real estate activities. Work closely with global and regional finance teams to optimize costs and processes. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in real estate management, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study with an additional qualification in real estate economics (IREBS, etc.). At least 15 years of experience in the development and implementation of complex, finance- and organisation-specific corporate real estate processes throughout the entire real estate life cycle, preferably in an industrial environment. Proven success in project and portfolio management, from strategy development to pragmatic, proactive, stakeholder-oriented implementation. Excellent leadership and communication skills in a global corporate context with a matrix organisation, combined with convincing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a structured and goal-oriented approach to work.Proven experience in ESG management, digitalisation and the development, implementation and execution of sustainability processes, etc. in the real estate industry. Experience in asset management/property management of diversified portfolios in the industrial sector.
