Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sales Growth Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through generating leads, making sales calls, and developing and meeting sales targets.
About the Role
This is a commercial role (hunter) primarily responsible for generating revenue. To be successful in this position, you should be an inspired self-starter who can drive sales growth. A top-notch Sales Growth Specialist should be able to build rapport with customers and close sales.
Main Responsibilities
* Achieve sales target and revenue growth through developing new customers
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, enhancing customer satisfaction
* Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies
* Prepare and submit proposals to customers
* Respond and follow up on customers' enquiries and requests
* Communicate customer expectations internally and with vendors
* Provide timely and accurate information on industry or customers' intelligence
* Collate and submit sales reports and analysis
* Develop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response to their queries
* Responsible for hunting of new customers and growth areas
* Ensure customers pay within their credit terms
* Other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain in a freight forwarding environment, preferably serving Oil & Gas industry
* Good presentation and communication skills
* Result-oriented, sales focused, process driven, people manager, organizer and planner, customer orientated with good interpersonal skills are the key success factors in this position
* Good sales track record
* Hands-on operational person who will get involved in operations when required
* Self-motivated and can work independently and as a team player
