EI Holdings believes in nurturing lifelong learners. We are seeking a skilled IB English and Literature facilitator to guide students in exploring the connections between language, culture, and literature.
Teaching duties
Deliver high-quality IB English and Literature lessons.
Facilitate classroom discussions that connect English and Literature to real-world contexts.
Assess students using IB standards in both English and Literature.
Encourage creativity in writing and appreciation of global perspectives in literature.
Provide constructive feedback and mentoring.
Non-teaching duties
Participate in professional duties as necessary outside of the scope of the school day (e.g. Field trips, professional development on weekends as needed, and after school meetings as required)
Supervise duties at break/lunch and/or other unstructured times
Lead/coach an after school CCA (co-curricular activity)
Assist in internal sub coverage according to department needs
Provide any other reasonable duties delegated by the School
Contribute to school continuous improvement by being a member of assigned committee or work group
Requirements
Degree in English, Literature or Education.
Familiarity with the IB curriculum and assessment practices.
Demonstrated ability to inspire curiosity in English and Literature.
Excellent communication and classroom leadership skills.
