Marine Elevator Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Elevator Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections, installations, maintenance and repairs of marine elevator systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and technical drawings and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical defects.

They will also be required to work independently to execute marine elevator general repair and overhaul jobs on board or at site.

Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of marine elevator electrical wiring and mechanical works.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspections, installations, maintenance and repairs of marine elevator systems.
  • Read and understand electrical and technical drawings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects.
  • Work independently to execute marine elevator general repair and overhaul jobs on board or at site.
  • Have knowledge of marine elevator electrical wiring and mechanical works.

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree certificate in elevator/electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Be able to travel overseas at short notice depending on project requirements.
  • Will to work in shipyard/anchorage environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work odd hours, weekends and public holidays.
