Role Overview We are seeking a driven and intellectually rigorous Senior Investment Analyst / Investment Research Specialist to support and scale our investment product lines. You will work closely with product leads and senior investment counsellors across public markets, providing research depth , data validation , portfolio insight , and performance analysis . Your work will sit at the core of how strategies are designed, communicated, and improved. This is not a reporting role — it is a build role . You will help turn research into products. Key Responsibilities Research & Insight Generation Conduct deep fundamental and thematic research on HK/US equities, with a focus on technology, consumer, industrials, AI, and related sectors. Build and maintain financial models , valuation frameworks , and industry trackers . Produce high-conviction research notes , investment theses , and strategic briefs . Support portfolio construction and rebalancing discussions for equity, thematic, ETF, and multi-asset strategies. Run performance attribution and risk analysis to understand drivers of returns and drawdowns. Contribute to scenario analysis , downside testing , and positioning rationale . Data, Structure, and Repeatability Help build and maintain internal research templates , coverage maps , watchlists , and KPI dashboards . Maintain the research backbone that makes every strategy explainable, repeatable, and defensible. Communication & Internal Alignment Prepare concise materials for investment committee discussions and client presentations . Summarize complex market or company developments into clear, actionable narratives . Work directly with Investment Product Leads to ensure research supports real client-facing strategies. Who We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in equity research , investment research , strategy , or portfolio analytics (buy-side or sell-side). Strong familiarity with public markets (HK/US equities, ETFs, multi-asset, or thematic exposure). Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills; able to build and defend assumptions. Excellent written communication — able to express a view clearly, concisely, and with evidence. Fluent in English (Mandarin proficiency is a plus). Preferred Backgrounds Experience in buy-side research , family office , long/short or long-only equity coverage , or multi-asset strategy support . Exposure to portfolio attribution , factor/risk analysis , or performance reporting . Comfortable using Excel, Python, SQL , or similar tools for analysis and monitoring.
