**Senior Investment Analyst**

**What can you expect?**
- Currently we are looking for a driven individual with a strong desire to succeed in the field of investments to fill the position of Senior Investment Analyst.
- The individual should have strong analytical skills, informed insights into financial markets and the wider industry, and how this fit into clients’ needs.
- The Senior Investment Analyst supports the team in all aspects of Mercer Investments’ work and includes the opportunities to engage with clients in the work.

**We will count on you to**:

- Provide analytical support to the assigned project team. This includes data search, processing and evaluation, with guidance provided by the consultants
- Attend, participate in and present at client meetings
- Assist in managing projects, clients’ requests and enquiries
- Assist in the preparation of proposals
- Produce reports and presentation slides for projects assigned
- Make preliminary recommendations to consultant on appropriate investment strategies and structures for clients, engaging with specialist teams where appropriate
- Liaise with Investments’ specialist teams and clients to ensure that any changes to investment managers are managed effectively
- Liaise with external managers, when needed to ensure that clients’ inputs from these managers are timely and accurately submitted
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members

**What you need to have**:

- 2- 5 years of relevant experience within an investment or retirement consulting environment- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical reasoning, analytical skills and ability to work through tasks in a logical manner
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities while working in a rapidly changing environment- Interest in pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst designation or other financial qualifications
