As the Territory Manager for our Forestry, Lawn, and Garden business segment, you will be responsible for growing existing business with a hunter & can-do mindset within key Channel Partners and generating new businesses. Your territory will include, but is not limited to: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish strong strategic partnerships with Distributors + Dealers, positioning Oregon Tool products as the first choice for our end users.
Build strong, meaningful relationships with decision-makers within key accounts by fostering trust via win-win long-term partnerships.
Measure current sales within Channel Partners and develop action plans to increase sales revenue.
Build and implement sound business proposals.
Manage resources and align priorities to support our ambitious growth plan for SE Asia within the APAC region.
Engage actively with internal resources (e.g., Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Sourcing Managers) to identify and qualify new opportunities.
Lead challenging contract and pricing negotiations with customers.
Provide input for the annual operating plan (AOP) and the long-term business plan (LTBP).
Analyze data to support monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales forecasting projections.
Be flexible for business travel around the region for at least 50% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
University degree in business administration, marketing, or engineering.
Business fluent in written and spoken English and at least one additional language (Mandarin, Bahasa Malay, or Indonesian).
Minimum of 7 years customer-facing outside sales experience.
Experience in managing and growing sales of products through sales channels (distributors + dealers).
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure against tight deadlines.
Provide product training/demonstration to distributors, dealers, and end-users as required.
Be a bold and creative problem solver, overcoming challenges.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Results-driven with a commitment to achieving sales targets and assignments.
Knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools, MS Excel/PowerPoint/Sales Force/SAP BW.
