Overview

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GovTech. We seek a seasoned User-Experience driven Product Engineer for user endpoints (e.g., laptops) for secured whole-of-government infrastructure. You will act as the voice of the customer, leading cross-functional teams to develop and deploy highly usable and innovative products to enhance user experience and work efficiency. This is a contract role ending on 30 November 2028.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for the endpoint infrastructure, prioritize features and create a roadmap for future development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and creation to launch, maintenance, and retirement, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer feedback and identify pain points for product development.
  • Redesign or simplify workflows (e.g., pushing down changes to endpoints) to minimize errors and fatigue.
  • Ensure that products meet security requirements for both end-users and IT administrators.
  • Drive the development of solutions with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Translate business needs or problems into clear, actionable functional requirements and technical specifications.
  • Own all endpoints related problem tickets and drive resolution, collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Perform stakeholder management to ensure management oversight of high-priority issues.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze product metrics, and provide insights to improve product performance and drive business decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering and other stakeholders to develop and launch solutions, ensuring seamless execution and user experience.
  • Collaborate with various product teams to plan testing, prioritize backlogs, and align schedules for product releases.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager with relevant focus on Windows endpoint, application rollout, group policies or IT Support and Administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to understand and translate customer needs into technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of endpoint machines, networking, Windows OS or desktop support (e.g., SCCM, CompTIA, Fundamentals in Microsoft Security, Compliance or Identity) is required.
  • Understanding of Active Directory hardening or group policies is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be detail-oriented to manage multiple projects effectively.
