We are looking for a skilled Level 2 Operations Support Engineer with strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience to provide operational support for mission-critical systems. You will be responsible for managing incidents, performing system maintenance, coordinating with resolver teams, and ensuring service uptime for both internal and external customers.Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 support in line with SLAs and customer contracts. Maintain and monitor supported systems (Linux/Windows), ensuring stability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating to specialist teams when needed. Act as a point of contact for customers during major incidents, ensuring clear communication. Perform proactive diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and fault analysis. Manage spare parts, hardware replacements, and vendor coordination. Implement system changes, configuration updates, and support deployments. Follow industry best practices to ensure high-quality service and infrastructure operations. Standard office hour. Must-Have Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field. 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8), including patching, tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience in Level 2 infrastructure or operations support roles. Experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter), Windows Server (2016/2019), and clustering. Familiarity with enterprise tools such as IBM MQ, Apache/Tomcat, and monitoring tools (Nagios, eG). Exposure to security tools (McAfee, Nessus), load balancers (F5), and firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint). Scripting in Bash, Python, or Perl and basic Java debugging. Experience with storage/backup systems (DELL EMC, Veritas) and DC failover testing. ITIL Foundation v3 and/or Red Hat/VMware certifications are a plus.
