Job Title:

Site Operations Manager

The Site Operations Manager oversees the planning, scheduling, and tracking of construction projects to meet project goals. This role requires coordination with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: The Site Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating project functions including project management, site management, and risk control management.
  • Construction Planning: Responsible for construction planning, scheduling, and tracking of projects, as well as coordination with consultants, contractor & supplier.
  • Operational Management: Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of a program, project or function, including developing short and long-range goals or objectives, coordinating activities with other Contractors.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and monitor site labor force and monitor work of Contractors, resolving unexpected construction difficulties and other problems that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Monitor drawings and quantities to ensure accuracy for implementation, including material wastages.
  • Scheduling: Plan work schedule and efficiently organize site facilities to meet agreed program of deadlines.
  • Progress Monitoring: Attend regular meetings with Client's Representative, Consultants, and/or Contractors to ensure progress is on schedule.
  • Cost Control: Monitor construction rate and construction cost, submitting regular progress reports with recommendations for improvement if required.
  • Health and Safety: Oversee quality control and safety matters on site, ensuring Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all times, and identify high-risk safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statements.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 8 years experience in related field.
