Payroll Manager

Our client, a prominent investment firm, is looking to hire a Payroll Manager for the regional team in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage payroll and HR finance operations across the Asia Pacific region, including countries such as Singapore, India, and Japan, ensuring accurate and timely pay cycles.
- Oversee employment-related tax compliance, including employer tax filings, withholding taxes, and arrangements for inbound/outbound employees.
- Supervise accounts payable, expense claim processes, and cash flow management, addressing ad-hoc queries to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Collaborate with external vendors (banks, payroll agents, tax advisors) to maintain high-quality, timely service delivery and foster strong partnerships.
- Identify and implement process improvements, working with regional and global teams to enhance automation and streamline payroll and financial workflows.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise in payroll and HR finance, with in-depth knowledge of employment regulations in Singapore, India, and Japan.
- Experience in investment firms i.e. hedge funds, asset managers, or securities brokerages is highly desirable; familiarity with corporate expense allocation processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and payroll and accounts payable systems such as PeopleSoft, Concur, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities, and a proactive, high-energy approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to adapt and maintain integrity in dynamic settings.
