Job Description

The Engineering Manager / Lead Software Engineer will play a crucial role in leading the engineering team to achieve our organization's vision and goals. This is a key position that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Define the engineering vision, strategy, and direction for the team, aligning with the organization's overall vision and goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders and agencies to prioritize and manage roadmaps for delivering towards product vision incrementally and efficiently.
  • Develop a long-term technical plan and roadmap for the assigned team, updating regularly to meet future product/business needs and infrastructure requirements.
  • Engage in conversations with engineers regarding their performance, professional growth, offering constructive feedback, mentoring, and guidance as needed.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to develop quality, reliability, and security strategies within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience in modern full-stack web application technologies; experience in modern frontend engineering like Next.js/React.js and Java/TypeScript on the backend is preferred.
  • Experience as Technical Leader.
  • At least 2+ years of experience coaching developers; helping them enhance their performance and grow their careers.
