Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Infrastructure Log Management Expert to join our team and take charge of managing our infrastructure logs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in large-scale, multi-client environments and be proficient in onboarding and normalizing logs from various infrastructure devices.

  • About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Log Management Expert who can design, implement, and optimize Logstash pipelines for high-volume log ingestion from infrastructure devices.
  • The successful candidate will lead the onboarding process of network devices, storage arrays, and server systems into Logstash pipelines for centralized log collection and monitoring.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining device-specific Logstash configurations, integrating log sources from multi-vendor environments, and implementing filtering and tagging strategies to categorize logs by device type, location, and criticality.
  • The role also involves creating and maintaining Kibana dashboards tailored for infrastructure monitoring, providing real-time visibility into device health, performance, and security events.
  • Furthermore, the expert will develop alerting rules for critical infrastructure events and automate device onboarding and log pipeline deployment using scripting (Shell, Python) and configuration management tools.
  • In addition, the Infrastructure Log Management Expert will collaborate with network, storage, and server teams to ensure comprehensive log coverage and rapid incident response.
  • About You
  • We require a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in large-scale, multi-client environments.
  • Strong knowledge of log formats (syslog, SNMP, vendor-specific), device management protocols, and log forwarding best practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in version control using Git and familiarity with ITSM integration (ServiceNow), including automated alert-to-incident workflows, are required.
  • Experience with security and compliance requirements for infrastructure log management is a plus.
