Base pay range Job Description Job Description Facilitate real-time spoken communication interpretation to help individuals overcome linguistic barriers and communicate effectively. Handle on-demand telephone or video calls, providing consecutive interpretation between the source and the target tongue. Quickly and accurately process spoken information while maintaining cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and courtesy. Apply appropriate industry-specific terminology and demonstrate familiarity with standard procedures across various sectors. Interpret conversations ranging from simple to complex topics in fields such as healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel, emergency services (911), law enforcement, legal proceedings, and general business. Requirements Qualification Minimum GCE O levels and above Demonstrates good listening, memory, and note-taking abilities to ensure high accuracy in interpretation. Maintains focus and neutrality during conversations, remaining objective and detached from the dialogue. Quickly builds trust and credibility with clients through professional conduct and clear communication. Follows client instructions precisely and consistently throughout the interpretation process. Explains cultural nuances when necessary to prevent misunderstandings, with client approval. Fully equipped to work remotely on a permanent basis.
