They are looking for a legal expert to help build a legal team. There will be a 105-minute pre-interview assessment for shortlisted candidates before the face-to-face interview. Details Salary: $15,000 - $20,000 + AWS + Bonus Working Days: 5 days Working Timing: 9AM to 6PM Working Location: ANSON ROAD SPRINGLEAF TOWER, MRT nearby are Tanjong Pagar or Shenton Way Requirements Degree in law (LLB) in university and called to the Singapore bar. Min 8-12 years of experience in either a law firm or as a legal counsel, preferably experience in trading & distribution, property development, construction related. Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, knowledge of and litigation. Able to travel to Malaysia ( Penang, Johor, KL ) with Managing Director for M&A jobs. Responsibilities Position holder provides legal advice and guidance regarding all aspects of Singapore law and applicable laws, regulations, and company rules. Legal advisory work: advising the Group's business departments, Managing Directors of Affiliates, traders, in drafting legal opinions, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, developing and/or updating templates and standard Terms & Conditions for all businesses in Singapore. M&A: leading the legal assistance on business development activities (establishment of new JVs, divestments, acquisitions of shares or assets), assisting, advising and negotiating with business, finance and tax teams, ensuring drafting and reviewing of corporate transactions, preparing legal notes and coordinating with risk/compliance, tax and finance teams to consolidate a comprehensive legal and compliance opinion. Corporate Secretarial: in charge directly or supervising i) incorporation of companies, corporate secretarial, business registration, renewal matters ii) all formalities related to board and shareholder meetings and compliance with corporate secretarial laws. Regulatory: drafting, reviewing and evaluating internal policies.
