What the role is: You study Singaporeans' sense of national identity, rootedness to the country, and commitment to defence, to make data-driven recommendations for National Education and Total Defence policies. What you will be working on: Analyse data from various sources to understand perceptions, attitudes, beliefs, and values of different population segments on National Education and Total Defence-related issues Study public responses to local and global developments Work with government agencies to design and conduct research studies Develop frameworks and models to shape and improve Whole-of-Government policies and engagement efforts Challenge(s): Making sense of a large amount of seemingly disparate information from diverse sources to generate useful insights for policy‐making What we are looking for: Education in communication studies or social sciences At least 2 years of relevant work experience in psychology, data analytics, or communications role is preferred Familiarity with data analysis methods and software Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills Excellent presentation and communication skills (Applicants with no experience may apply.)Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
