Customer Service Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping/logistics within the freight forwarding industry and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation required for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport). Your main objective will be to ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.

Additionally, you will work closely with customs brokers to help clear goods through customs, providing necessary documentation and information as needed. You will also monitor shipments from the point of origin to the final destination, proactively communicating any delays and managing client expectations.

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to enhance their logistics experience. You will resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation required for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport).
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.
  • Work closely with customs brokers to help clear goods through customs, providing necessary documentation and information as needed.

Requirements:

Experience in Shipping/Logistics within the freight forwarding industry is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically.

Brief knowledge of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation.

Ability to problem-solve and provide timely resolution to customer issues.
