Roles & Responsibilities

Are you ready to take the lead? As the Centre Manager, you'll be the maestro conducting a symphony of talented educators, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and making sure students have the best Mandarin-learning experience possible. You'll juggle team leadership, administrative duties, and a splash of teaching to keep everything in perfect harmony.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support teaching staff, ensuring they are delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining a positive environment
  • Manage the daily operations of the tuition centre, including scheduling, student progress tracking, and classroom management
  • Liaise with parents, keeping them updated on their child's progress and addressing any concerns they might have
  • Coordinate assessments to monitor student performance and implement strategies for improvement
  • Ensure smooth communication among teachers, students, and parents to foster a positive, productive atmosphere

Who You Are:

  • You have at least 2 years of leadership experience in an education institution, with a knack for motivating and guiding a team.
  • You're organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
  • You're a people person who enjoys working with students, teachers, and parents alike.
  • You're are fluent in Mandarin, with a Degree or Masters in Education, Chinese Studies, or Chinese Language from NUS, NTU, NIE, or another well-respected university, and with the ability to jump in and help in class when needed.
  • You're problem-solving by nature, always looking for ways to improve and make things run more smoothly.
