Join us to advance our mission and shape your future with us todayLearn more about GovTech at tech.gov.sg What you will be working on: As a Senior or Lead UX Designer embedded within GovTech's forward deployed team at SLA (Singapore Land Authority), you will play a pivotal role in shaping user‐centric digital services that impact citizens, businesses, and government stakeholders. You will lead design efforts across SLA's digital product portfolio, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and impactful experiences. You will contribute to the design and evolution of SLA's key digital platforms, including: OneMap – Singapore's authoritative national map platform. INLIS (Integrated Land Information Service)– A portal for land and property information. GeoWorks – SLA's geospatial industry centre supporting innovation and collaboration. Property Title System – Modernizing land title registration and conveyancing. Digital Conveyancing Portal – Streamlining legal and property transactions. Land Data Hub – Centralized access to land-related datasets for public and private use. These platforms serve a wide range of users—from citizens and real estate professionals to government agencies and urban planners. Key Responsibilities Lead end‐to‐end UX design for SLA's digital products, from discovery to delivery. Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions. Translate complex workflows into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes. Develop and maintain SLA's design system and ensure consistency across platforms. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and policy teams to align design with business and user goals. Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellence within the team. Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and evidence‐based design practices. What we are looking for: 6+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role. Strong portfolio demonstrating user‐centered design across web and mobile platforms. Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and prototyping. Experience conducting user research and usability testing. Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross‐functional teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for public service and improving digital government services.
