Job Summary:

As a Senior Software and Application Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers and application engineers to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of software developers and application engineers.
  • Overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications and software solutions.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensuring software projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • Defining and enforcing coding standards, development best practices, and architectural guidelines.
  • Managing the integration of applications with internal and external systems, APIs, and third-party tools.
  • Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.
  • Coordinating with IT, DevOps, and QA teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
  • Evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance productivity and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Preparing reports and providing insights to senior management on project status, system health, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8–12 years in software development, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or team lead role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple software projects and development teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in software architecture, application development, and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages, frameworks, and platforms relevant to the company's tech stack.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise application management, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to strategize, plan, and execute projects in a fast-paced environment.
