The team is looking for a Sales Specialist who is responsible for driving truck sales through strategic market segmentation, including analyzing buying behavior and identifying growth opportunities. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and potential customers to expand market reach and enhance customer satisfaction.
The client is a Global Manufacturer and Market Leader in the Commercial Vehicle industry, specializing in producing a diverse range of trucks, from light to heavy-duty models.
Responsibilities:
Drive new commercial vehicle sales within the assigned territory.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and customer development goals through a value-based approach to customer acquisition and retention.
Build and nurture long-term business relationships by understanding and anticipating the needs and priorities of both existing and prospective customers.
Align sales activities with company strategies, including customer segmentation, product mix, and pricing policies.
Enhance customer loyalty and business growth through structured Customer Management (CM) practices, providing continuous support and assistance.
Develop and execute business and account sales strategies by analyzing fleet requirements, operational needs, and unmet customer demands.
Manage daily sales activities, including identifying opportunities, preparing quotations, negotiating offers, and securing orders.
Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
Participate in Customer Vehicle Handover Ceremonies as needed.
Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions and bodybuilders to facilitate sales closures.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Provide weekly reports on sales performance, including customer database updates, visitation plans, sales prospects, and market trends.
Support and manage account receivables efficiently.
You Bring:
Minimum GCE O-Level qualification or higher.
3 to 6 years of experience in premium product sales, preferably in the automotive or truck industry.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good with dialects would be a + point given the nature of the industry.
Motivated, and a team player.
Good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry, market trends, and customer needs.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own vehicle (ideally).
