Job Description

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and utilizing various inspection equipment, including air leak testers, dimensional measurement tools, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. They will analyze inspection data to identify defect rates and determine potential root causes, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality inspection equipment, and provide on-site support by referencing Manufacturing Quality Engineering (MQE) data, product specifications, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines, and Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (MSOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and utilize various inspection equipment, including air leak testers, dimensional measurement tools, and AOI systems.
  • Analyze inspection data to identify defect rates and determine potential root causes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality inspection equipment.
  • Provide on-site support by referencing MQE data, product specifications, DFM guidelines, and MSOPs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven hands-on experience operating various inspection equipment, including air leak testers, dimensional measurement tools, and AOI systems.
  • Proficient skills in the use of advanced dimensional inspection tools, such as Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Optical Measuring Machines (OMMs), surface roughness testers, gloss meters, and colorimeters.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation.
