Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various inspection equipment, including air leak testers, dimensional measurement tools, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. They will analyze inspection data to identify defect rates and determine potential root causes.

They will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality inspection equipment, and provide on-site support by referencing Manufacturing Quality Engineering (MQE) data, product specifications, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines, and Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (MSOPs).

  • Operate and utilize various inspection equipment.
  • Analyze inspection data to identify defect rates and determine potential root causes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to quality inspection equipment.
  • Provide on-site support by referencing MQE data, product specifications, DFM guidelines, and MSOPs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven hands-on experience operating various inspection equipment.
  • Proficient skills in the use of advanced dimensional inspection tools, such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Optical Measuring Machines (OMMs), surface roughness testers, gloss meters, and colorimeters.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation.
