Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and compare vessel requirements against specifications.
  • Manage dealings with designers, classification societies and flag statutory bodies on engineering issues.
  • Liaise with designers, vendors and construction teams for any engineering or design issues.
  • Define and review technical specifications from designers and vendors.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure equipment specifications meet owner and client requirements.
  • Ensure design and drawings meet owner and client requirements.
  • Liaise with designers and shipyards for vessel-related electrical, automation and digitization matters.
  • Responsible for New Building vessel design and engineering ensuring vessel design meets owner and client objectives.
  • Ensure vessel design achieves cost efficiency.
  • Ensure vessel design meets IMO and flag latest regulations and client's requirements.
