The role aims to develop and manage relationships and collaborations with like-minded individuals, organisations, professional bodies, corporate, government agencies to support the transformation and development of NLB's Library and Archives Blueprint 2025 (LAB25).
What you will be working on:
Formulate partnership and volunteer strategies and operations to ensure high value collaborations.
Spearhead proposals, lead and manage local partnership projects and volunteer management, operations, and collaborations.
Establish and oversee the development and establishment of volunteers policies, workflows and procedures to manage volunteers efficiently.
Develop relationship with corporate, schools and individuals for effective volunteering experiences for the development of LAB25 initiatives.
Facilitate workshops and discussions with internal stakeholders and volunteers in the planning of key LAB25 projects.
Research and evaluate NLB’s relations with local partners and volunteers.
Regularly review the volunteer management strategy, including but not limited to, cultivating industry players in support of LAB25.
Develop value propositions and pitches for corporate volunteers.
Develop tiered benefits with different types of volunteers.
Review the volunteers system and portal to NLB and LAB25 initiatives.
Manage a system of recognition and benefits package for volunteers, in support of LAB25 initiatives and projects.
Lead ground up community engagement activities with new revamped libraries.
Train internal stakeholders for engaging community and volunteers at their libraries for retention and long-term collaboration.
What we are looking for:
Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience in partnership and/or volunteer management.
Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking).
Excellent interpersonal, project management and organisation skills.
Able to work effectively in different work situations.
Able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
A self-starter with an analytical and creative mind.
The successful applicant will be appointed on contract till 31 Dec 2025.
