The Commissioning Marine Superintendent oversees and coordinates all construction & commissioning activities related to Marine discipline, facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project HSSE, Quality, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensure all construction & commissioning activities of your discipline are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and project schedule, in compliance with HSSE & Quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise daily site operations, including workforce management, material handling, and equipment usage.
Lead site inspections, tests, and verifications of your discipline's systems and equipment.
Manage and implement changes to your discipline's plan or scope of work during the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate and timely records of discipline activities, including progress reports, HSSE records, and quality control data.
Monitor progress against the project timeline and take corrective actions as needed.
Implement and enforce HSSE protocols and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
Manage and mentor construction & commissioning supervisors and team members to uphold high standards of work.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
Relevant experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction & commissioning processes in the relevant discipline, and practical leadership experience on-site.
Specialized Skills
Mechanical Static Equipment: Inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring.
Third-party relation management.
Construction, commissioning, and quality strategy development.
Mechanical Rotating Equipment: Technical understanding and management.
HSSE-Q&R-OE leadership.
Design and execution technical understanding.
Planning and coordination skills.
