**Structural Supervisor Role Summary**

Job Overview

The Structural Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the fabrication and installation of structures on site. This involves collaborating with the Superintendent/structure engineer to understand project schedules, expediting site work with allocated sub-contractor teams, and updating project progress reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Superintendent/structure engineer to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Expedite site fabrication and installation works with allocated sub-contractor teams to achieve targeted progress.
  • Update project progress reports and plan activities for one week ahead.
  • Conduct red line mark up drawings and update engineering accordingly.
  • Work closely with Superintendent/structure engineer to resolve drawing and site discrepancies, equipment structural clash checks, and troubleshoot fabrication matters.
  • Maintain records for final reconciliation of materials.
  • Coordinate and organize scaffolding erection and de-staging plans with all trades.
  • Follow-up of all fabrication and installation job fit-up, welding, and inspection.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with project requirements and scope of works.
  • Understand contractors' scope of work and manage subcontractor performance in line with provided schedules.
  • Capture and prepare timesheets for submission for any drawing changes, modifications, and scope variations.
  • Provide necessary information to prepare MOS and JSA arrangements and follow up on lifting plan arrangement drawings.
  • Issue materials to subcontractors based on work front for one week and account for offcut materials traceability and records.
  • Prepare nesting requests upon receiving drawings not less than three days and maintain records.
  • Maintain files of shop drawings in running drawing numbers.
  • Maintain weekly constructed weight and MTO, and check against sub-con claims.
  • Progress claims to be verified and signed within three working days.
  • Ensure toolbox meetings are completed accordingly, and handover ongoing works in writing to night shift supervisors.
  • Maintain coordination of housekeeping activities and safety activities for allocated locations/jobs/modules with various disciplines.
