Job Overview: We are looking for an Indoor Sales Coordinator with expertise in the marine industry to join our dynamic sales team. The role involves managing sales processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting sales activities related to marine products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the marine industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage sales operations. Key Responsibilities: Sales Support: Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks such as preparing quotes, proposals, and sales orders specific to marine products and services (e.g., vessels, maritime equipment, shipping solutions). Ensure all client communications are documented and up-to-date in the CRM system. Prepare and maintain sales reports, presentations, and sales-related documents. Order Processing and Coordination: Coordinate order processing for marine products or services from initial inquiry to final delivery. Communicate with clients to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and product specifications. Liaise with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to the fulfillment of orders. Track orders and monitor progress, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for existing and potential clients in the marine sector. Address customer inquiries, provide product details, and follow up on quotations and proposals. Handle client concerns and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring prompt resolution. Lead Generation and Qualification: Assist in identifying and generating leads within the marine sector through industry events, online platforms, and networking opportunities. Support the sales team by qualifying leads, tracking prospect progress, and updating the CRM system. Marine Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the products and services offered within the marine industry, including shipping equipment, maritime technologies, and vessel solutions. Ensure accurate communication of product details and specifications to clients. Sales Administration and Reporting: Maintain and update client databases, ensuring accurate records of interactions and transactions. Generate regular sales reports to track sales performance, lead status, and opportunities. Assist in forecasting sales targets and analyzing market trends in the marine sector. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction. Follow up on client feedback, ensuring that the company is meeting expectations in terms of product/service delivery. Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operation of sales processes. Collaborate with the business development team to identify opportunities for growth in the marine sector. Event Coordination: Assist in coordinating sales-related events such as product launches, marine exhibitions, or customer meetings. Represent the company at marine industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed. Key Skills and Qualifications: Education: Minimum Diploma, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Previous experience in a sales coordination or customer service role, preferably in the marine or maritime industry. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Marine Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with marine products, services, and trends is highly desirable. Sales Support Skills: Experience with sales support tasks such as preparing quotes, proposals, processing orders, and managing sales documentation. Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks and priorities. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle client queries and concerns efficiently. Tech‐Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and familiarity with marine‐specific software or tools (e.g., marine equipment management platforms) is an advantage. Problem‐Solving: Ability to resolve issues related to order fulfillment, product availability, and customer concerns. Working Conditions: Office‐based role with occasional travel to client locations, marine exhibitions, or industry events. Regular working hours (5 days of the week).
