Responsibilities Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex Mechanical projects / multiple jobs Work on mechanical projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets Lead and manage M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes Identify and implement profit maximisation and cost management strategies Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills Mentor and coach junior peers across the M&E discipline Key Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)At least 7 years of experience from an engineering consulting environment is preferred Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage Experience leading roles for design & design management of healthcare, commercial and/or institutional projects Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives A team, client and delivery focused working style What we offer Career growth and development Medical & Telecommunication Allowance Annual Wage Supplement & Variable Bonus Volunteer & Wellbeing Leave A supportive and caring work environment Opportunities to learn from our industry experts technical gurus About Beca Beca is one of Asia Pacific’s largest independent advisory, design and engineering consultancies.
