Senior Quality Manager Job Description

This is a high-level leadership role that involves overseeing and implementing quality management strategies for dedicated OSAT providers, including performance tracking and yield improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier quality to ensure adherence to automotive standards and implement zero-defect strategies at OSAT suppliers.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, manufacturing releases, and annual re-qualifications to ensure efficient processes and timely delivery.
  • Lead change management initiatives to evaluate supplier changes and coordinate release processes within the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs for supplier quality processes, guidelines, and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in Engineering or Business Administration with relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor backend process and quality management principles.
  • Experience managing suppliers in a fabless or OSAT environment with expertise in supplier audits and assessments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
