Geotechnical Design Specialist

As a Geotechnical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in geotechnical design and analysis to support infrastructure projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting geotechnical design and analysis for ground improvement works, foundation, excavation, earth retaining structures, slope, instrumentation, and site investigation.
- Planning, designing, and coordinating geotechnical/civil engineering and infrastructural design and site works.
- Ensuring all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
- Coordinating design-related matters with clients, designers, subcontractors, specialists, and construction teams.
- Project coordination and conducting analysis and design of civil, structural, bridge, and geotechnical engineering disciplines.
- Familiarity with design software, including Tedds, Prokon, Plaxis 2D/3D, Staad Pro, SAP, Robot, and Geostudio.
- Management of construction contracts.
- Planning site investigations, reviewing field/laboratory test data, and preparing civil structural and geotechnical interpretative reports.
- Planning instrumentation, monitoring, and reviewing/analyzing instrumentation data.
- Authorities and attending project meetings.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Majoring in geotechnical or related subjects is advantageous.
- Familiarity with using geotechnical design software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and as a team.
