Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the execution of geotechnical designs involving the preparation of calculations and reviewing of geotechnical design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes and standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of designs by conducting thorough reviews and analyses.
  • Produce detailed sketch drawings that accurately represent the design intent.
  • Perform complex design calculations using established methods and software.
  • Verify compliance with project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept through regular checks and audits.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and site personnel to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Develop and implement ISO Quality Procedure Manual guidelines to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Sustain continuity of drafting program by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in geotechnical design in a consultancy company is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering is required.
