Job Description

We seek a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, analyze, and assess ground improvement works, foundations, excavations, earth retaining structures, slopes, instrumentation, site investigations, and simple structures.

You will work closely with project stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure that all engineering works comply with statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.

Your duties will also include planning, designing, supervising, and coordinating geotechnical/civil engineering, infrastructural design, and site works. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality standards of design and supervision, working closely with the Team Leader.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will need to liaise with various stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.

Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent recognized by the appropriate bodies;
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering projects;
  • Familiarity with geotechnical & structural design in Eurocodes;
  • Proficiency in geotechnical design software, such as Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, GeoStudio, TEDDS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, etc.;
  • Familiarity with authorities submission requirements and project management for civil/infrastructure engineering projects;
  • Familiarity with ground improvement works, civil, structural designs, and BIM is advantageous;
