As part of the Complex Delivery team within Industry Solutions Delivery, the Client Delivery Partner (CDP) is responsible for leading large, transformational deals from origination through delivery stabilization. The CDP is a customer‐facing executive, leading a matrixed, cross‐functional team through deal and delivery execution, simplifying complexity, and marshalling the full capabilities of Microsoft to deliver differentiated customer value and ensure Microsoft profitability. Responsibilities Lead large transformational deals from origination through delivery stabilization, including leading cross‐functional, cross‐organizational deal teams through strategic deal pursuit, negotiation, and close phases. Initiate and stabilize delivery, providing customer‐facing executive leadership throughout deal and delivery stages. Act as main counterpart for the customer and work in unison with the customer executive sponsor to originate, shape, and deliver customer business value. Direct the cross‐functional Microsoft team, lead the development of deal content and structure, define customer tangible and intangible business outcomes, and structure the deal pillars. Architect the proposal, including commercial proposition(s), oversee scoping of ISD workstreams; lead negotiations with the customer and coordinate messaging and deal points across Microsoft deal teams. Leverage and integrate the breadth and depth of Microsoft resources to shape a differentiated, valuable proposition for the customer and a compelling deal for Microsoft. Oversee initiation and mobilization of delivery teams, ensuring alignment with expected deal outcomes; lead Microsoft steering committees and provide executive decision making and escalation path for delivery, engineering/product group and commercial issues. During delivery, be accountable for financial performance of the deal, including Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR), ISD revenue and margins, approve deal proposals, change requests, forecasts, and other key deliverables. Manage escalations and conflict resolution, addressing issues promptly and seeking win‐win solutions. Ensure collaboration across internal senior leaders, share knowledge and resources, encourage cross‐departmental initiatives, and promote continuous learning. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 12+ years solution delivery, customer‐facing consulting, or digital transformation experience OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 10+ years solution delivery, customer‐facing consulting, or digital transformation experience OR equivalent experience 6+ years leadership experience in a matrixed environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 15+ years solution delivery, customer‐facing consulting, or digital transformation experience OR equivalent experience 12+ years relevant work experience in solution delivery 5+ years relevant work experience within Financial Services industry & financial management (e.g., profit and loss)The role requires proficiency in English at an advanced level.
