Job Opportunity

This is a technical position that involves the support of IT infrastructure on Unix platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in clustering technologies, as well as scripting tools/language such as Perl, Ruby, and AWK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and identifying root cause analysis of server and application issues.
  • Deploy operating system packages and bug fixes to test, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Manage operational changes through change request processes and provide status reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide first- and second-level operational support for Unix, Linux, Solaris, Red Hat, AIX, and SUSE systems.
  • Participate in audit activities and respond to audit findings.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
  • At least three years of relevant working experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris/Red Hat/AIX/SUSE administration in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in clustering technologies, particularly Red Hat Clustering and Oracle Solaris Clustering.
  • Relevant knowledge in SolarWinds software.
