Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Unix administrator to join our build team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Unix systems and virtualized servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers.
- Manage, provision, and support VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Implement and maintain system security, patching, and compliance in line with CIS benchmarks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, etc.).
