JOB DESCRIPTION – Presales Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient
Presales Specialist
to join our growing team in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by understanding customer requirements, presenting technical solutions, and demonstrating how our products and services meet client needs.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and business acumen to bridge the gap between customer requirements and our solution offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions and technical advice.
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, solution presentations, and proof of concepts (POCs) to prospective clients.
Translate customer business and technical requirements into comprehensive solutions and proposals.
Develop and deliver compelling RFP/RFI responses and proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Act as a technical advisor during customer meetings and discussions, addressing concerns and articulating value.
Provide competitive analysis and positioning to strengthen value propositions.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to relay client feedback and contribute to solution enhancements.
Support post-sales handovers and ensure a smooth transition to the implementation team.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in a presales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
Strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions such as cloud computing, SaaS, networking, or cybersecurity (based on industry).
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly language.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), proposal software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with customers in the ASEAN or APAC region.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cisco, Salesforce) would be a plus.
Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa) is advantageous for regional engagements.
