Market and Liquidity Risk Professional

This high-impact role involves driving market and liquidity risk strategy with a strong focus on Asian markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading risk oversight across the trading book, collaborating closely with Front Office and senior management to drive growth while managing risk responsibly.

They will also have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly local liquidity risk standards and stress testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead market and liquidity risk oversight across the trading book.
  • Assess, monitor, and report risk exposures ensuring alignment with business and regulatory expectations.
  • Manage liquidity risk, including regulatory reporting, stress testing, and contingency funding planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office and senior management to challenge strategies and support growth responsibly.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of risk frameworks, systems, and governance documentation.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of experience in market and liquidity risk from a financial institution.
  • Strong technical proficiency in risk analytics, modelling tools, and market risk systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
