We are seeking an experienced professional to join our global fixed income and macro team in Singapore. About the Role:

This position involves working closely with senior in-business Risk Managers to contribute to portfolio reviews, stress testing, and scenario analysis across a diverse range of global macro products. You will partner with portfolio managers and product teams to enhance risk oversight and portfolio monitoring while developing independent assessments on select investments to present to fixed income committees.

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior Risk Managers in regular portfolio reviews, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with portfolio managers and product teams to enhance risk oversight and strengthen portfolio monitoring processes.
  • Develop independent investment assessments and present recommendations to fixed income committees.
  • Contribute to the development of in-business risk management capabilities and adopt industry best practices.
  • Assist in portfolio construction and capital allocation to optimize risk-adjusted returns across fixed income strategies.

Candidate Profile:

  • A VP-level professional with macro product specialism and a strong risk focus, ideally from an investment risk function in a buy-side organisation or as a former risk taker.
  • Background in investment management on the buy-side is preferred for quicker onboarding, though a dynamic sell-side professional with relevant skills will be considered.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in investment or market risk, portfolio management, research, or underwriting.
  • Markets-oriented, with the ability to engage credibly with very senior people and also execute hands-on technical work.
  • Strong collaborative mindset, with the ability to work seamlessly across teams and business functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
