Market Risk Analyst Opportunity


Our organization is seeking a Market Risk Senior Analyst to support commodity activities and the company's financial platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced market risk analytics methodologies. Create reports on key risks to our portfolio and trading activities. Ensure control, systems, and processes are consistent across global teams. Understand and explain Value-at-Risk movements and trading strategies. Utilize market knowledge to analyze commercial activities and performance. Assess embedded optionality and risk profiles of assets. Manage relationships with stakeholders, including Front Office, Operations, Finance, and IT. Apply historical, fundamental, and scenario analysis for risk evaluation. Create tools and models for risk capture. Perform daily risk reporting, strategy understanding, and risk escalation. Enforce the Global Market Risk Policy regionally.
Requirements: 5-6+ years of experience in agriculture or financial trading, market risk, research, middle office, or trading roles. Understanding of agriculture or FX markets, trading strategies, and risk highlighting. Knowledge of position management and price risk for commodities and FX. Familiarity with market risk metrics like Value-at-Risk. Understanding of options and Greeks modeling. Proactive, self-starting attitude. Strong Excel skills; knowledge of R, C#, SQL, or Python is a plus.
