Overview Assistant Manager (Surgical & Specialised Services) at Alexandra Hospital, Singapore. The incumbent will manage assigned clinical service(s) across the continuum of care and achieve outcomes in customer service, volume & financial targets, processes, learning & growth perspectives. Responsibilities Manage service point operations assigned. Responsible for daily operations of these service points, including front counter services, administrative / operational matters and partnering Nurse Manager and other stakeholders to solve system and process problems. Devise innovative services to continually improve service levels and patient care. Achieve volume and financial targets for clinical targets assigned. Manage services through annual financial budgeting and regular reviews with clinical heads, and development of new services. Manage a group of non-nursing staff providing services in service points. Conduct appraisals for non-nursing staff. Ensure non-nursing staff receive appropriate induction, orientation and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs. Recruit and retain staff to achieve a stable, skilled, and motivated workforce and achieve desired customer and business outcomes. Facilitate two-way communication between staff and management, ensuring timely dissemination of information, escalation of issues, and recommending solutions to problems. Actively contribute to campus development workshops and planning. Participate in committees and other tasks as assigned. Requirements Degree in any discipline Minimum 3 years’ work experience in healthcare industry Healthcare operational experience will be advantageous though not necessary Analytical, quantitative with strong communication skills (written and verbal)Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines Good analytical and organization skills Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills If the role sounds interesting to you, please contact ‘ ’ to understand more on the role.
