If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.Investment Strategy:Develop and execute investment strategies in the data center sector, including identifying potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and making informed investment decisions.Investment Management:Oversee the end-to-end Investment process of data center projects, from site selection and acquisition to design. Lead the deal team to structure and negotiate the closure of multiple acquisition / divestment of data centre assets/ DC operating companies including origination, analysis, underwriting, due diligence, research, technical design and solutions, tax structuring, deal evaluation and deal execution. Preparing and submitting proposals for approvals on investments and divestmentsFinancial Analysis:Conduct financial analysis, including investment valuation, feasibility studies, and risk assessments. Independently generate financial models of varying complexities to support investment thesis. Monitor and evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations to maximize return on investment.Stakeholder Management:Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, vendors, brokers and regulatory authorities. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive projects forward and ensure successful outcomes.Negotiation:Work with in-house counsel to manage external legal adviser(s), review and lead negotiation of key legal terms within the legal documentation related to acquisitions with external partners in the various jurisdictions.Market Research:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies in the data center space. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new investment opportunities and potential areas for expansion.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, IT, computing science or a related field.* Proven experience in investment management within the data center, real estate, private equity, Infrastructure, IT or Technology industry, with a strong track record of successful investment deals.* Solid understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and technical requirements. Strong grasp of Mechanical and Electrical systems or IT architecture would be helpful, but not necessary.* Strong financial acumen, with the ability to conduct thorough financial analysis and develop investment strategies.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.* Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive projects towards successful completion. Project management background will be helpful.* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
