Requisition ID: 76407Description NPI Supply chain management will be your focus as Materials / Planning Specialist. You will track inventory trends and maintain consistency in material quality, handle inventory for production, and coordinate deliveries to customers. You will use software systems to design material and supply movement plans, predict and track demand, and develop productivity improvement proposals. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the engineering cycle. Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinate efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Maintain procurement system data input and integrity; create and maintain bills of material and part/commodity numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise‐wide systems. Manage the MRP system, engineering site & offshore inventory and resources. Oversee acquisition, distribution, allocation, and delivery of materials and finished products. Analyze and coordinate logistical functions related to assigned products. Maintain positive business relationships with key customer personnel involved in logistics activities. Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning and repair analysis. Assign locations for customer samples and follow up with suppliers on orders. Procure materials for various locations and follow up on purchase requests with buyers. Required Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Good problem‐solving skills. Good communication skills. Ability to work with limited supervision. Must function in an ambiguous environment and multi‐task when needed. Experience with ERP system management (SAP & Ariba). Experience with PLM system management (Agile). Experience working in a supply chain planning. Skyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
