Overview
Senior Officer/ Deputy Manager (Interest / Market / Liquidity), Risk Management
Responsibilities
Manage interest risk, liquidity risk, and market risk, in compliance with the requirements of the head office and regulatory authorities.
Ensure prompt and timely completion of daily monitoring, monthly, and quarterly tasks and reports for internal teams and Head Office.
Identify and address data quality issues for all relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to Treasury and Management.
Maintain and perform periodic reviews of policies and processes to ensure alignment with Local and Head Office requirements.
Monitor the relevant risk indicators within the defined limits.
Provide analytical support for relevant stakeholders.
Identify risk drivers and assess their impact on liquidity positions.
Be involved in system integration of HO projects to ensure smooth transition and report accuracy upon new system migration.
Address issues raised by auditors and MAS relating to market risk, liquidity risk, and interest risk.
Undertake ad-hoc projects and other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of market / liquidity / interest risk experience in the banking industry.
Good understanding of market / liquidity / interest risk regulatory requirements.
Meticulous, versatile, good interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.
Skilled at handling data; proficient in using VBA and other data processing tools.
Familiar with Bloomberg system.
Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking parties.
